Shipping methods

Orders are accepted for product deliveries only within the territory of the Greek State.

 The orders of the products displayed in the online shop with the indication "Available for shipment" are carried out and the products are delivered within seven (7) working days in the regions of Attica, Thessaloniki and Larissa, from the acceptance of each order by AIOLOS LIFTS EE, within in eight working hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

 If the deadline expires on a non-working day, then it is extended until the next working day. The delivery of the products marked "Available for shipment" to areas that do not belong to the aforementioned, except for the following exceptions, are again made within seven (7) working days from the acceptance of the order by AIOLOS LIFTS EE.

 Exceptionally , in cases of sending products to remote or inaccessible areas (accidental or island areas), the delivery may also take place after the expiry of this deadline depending on the existing means of transport, the difficulty, the distance, etc. The products marked "Available - Special Order" which are put up for sale only from the online store are delivered within seven (7) working days from the acceptance of the order. The orders of the products displayed in the online store with the indication "Available for Fast Shipping" are delivered within 24 hours within Attica and by the second working day from the acceptance of the order based on the relevant conditions. The cost of the service is €9.99 and is charged in addition to the transport costs.

The timetables of each shipment are set unilaterally by AIOLOS LIFTS EE.

Orders that include products on order from suppliers (marked "Expected Soon/Back Ordered") are shipped after all products have been collected at the company's central warehouses. Partial shipping of individual products of an order is not excluded if they are received at different times from suppliers or if they come from different warehouses of the company.

The above deadlines in case of force majeure events beyond the control and influence of the company, such as earthquakes, extreme weather phenomena, pandemics (indicative of COVID 19 etc.), stoppages, riots, decisions of competent authorities that limit the activity of those involved in the execution of orders and carrier and service sales, supplier delays in deliveries, etc. are likely to be extended for a reasonable period of time due to the extraordinary circumstances. AIOLOS LIFTS EE will make every effort to serve you better, but is not responsible for delays or temporary inability to fulfill its obligations due to the above reasons.

Method of delivery of order - charges for deliveries
Deliveries to areas within the Distribution Network of AIOLOS LIFTS EU-obligations:
In the Distribution Network of AIOLOS LIFTS EE, it is defined that the region of Attica is included. The deliverables in the above regions and cities, after the order, products and services are sent to the address and to the recipient that the customer has declared when submitting his order, which has been accepted by the company. AIOLOS LIFTS EE freely chooses the means of shipment.

Deliveries to other areas of the Territory

In the event that the customer designates in the order to be forwarded, a place of delivery outside the areas mentioned in the previous paragraph (ie outside the urban complexes of Athens), then AIOLOS LIFTS EE is entitled to entrust the transportation of the products to a cooperating transport company. In any case of delivery of goods by a cooperating transport company and not by means of transport owned by AIOLOS LIFTS EE.

The item is delivered at street level in front of the entrance of the building where the customer's company is located without the obligation to transport to a floor and the customer is obliged to pick it up at this location and drive it to its destination by his own means.

The risk from the sale in the case of transportation with a third-party carrier's agent, passes to the buyer at the time of delivery of the goods sold by the carrier. In case of selection and assignment by the customer, the risk passes to the customer upon delivery of the products to the carrier. For the assignment of the transport to a cooperating carrier, the customer will be informed when submitting his order, while an immediate written consultation (by electronic mail) will follow, which can also be confirmed by telephone if deemed necessary, (tel. 210 8169999 and hours Monday – Friday 08:30-16:30).

Right to reject a product order on behalf of AIOLOS LIFTS EE.
The COMPANY is entitled to reject and not accept orders in which cumulative

The customer requests to pay the value of the purchase by cash on delivery if it exceeds the amount of 500 euros and
The order concerns a large product/s in mass, such as an indicative weight of more than 100 kg.
Instead, it is obliged to accept such an order if the customer accepts an alternative payment method that the parties will mutually agree on in writing.

Provision of services by AIOLOS LIFTS EE only within the limits of the Service Provision Network – right to reject an order for services outside the Network

General conditions for shipping products and services
The company reserves the right to modify shipping methods, conditions and prices at will and without prior warning obliged to inform its prospective customers of these changes by revising the present terms of use of the online store.

AIOLOS LIFTS EE provides the customer with the possibility of receiving the products and services sold through the online store, when they are available, from AIOLOS LIFTS EE. In particular, the customer has the right to choose through the online store the product(s) that he wishes to receive from the company, paying the price of these products in cash or with a credit card charge, upon receipt of the products.

This option is provided for same-day pickup (if the item is available) and up to 3 business days of the company's store. The customer will be able to come to the company, for the receipt of the sold items, after at least half an hour has passed since the submission of his order through the online store (for example, if the customer places an order at 2:00 p.m., he will be able to pick it up from the store he has chosen at least after 2:30 p.m.).

In the event that it is established that a user abuses the possibility provided to him by the COMPANY (e.g. repeatedly ordering items through the online store and not receiving them from the store, etc.), the latter may reject and refuse that user's order through the in-store pickup option. In the event that the customer does not come to the store to receive the items sold (i.e., receive the items and pay the price) during the above-mentioned deadline, then the order is automatically canceled, subject to the severance clause of the above-mentioned deadline from part of the client fulfilling his obligations. The deadline can only be extended for reasons of force majeure, as long as these are notified in time by the customer and confirmed in writing. In the case of cancellation, AEOLOS LIFTS EE bears no responsibility for this reason.

Responsible for receiving on behalf of the customer
The receipt in any case is made by the person referred to in the order as the recipient by showing his police ID or passport or in general a public document suitable for proof of identity.

Deadline for fulfillment of the sale - delivery

AIOLOS LIFTS EE. is committed to the shipping times of the available products as above, as long as there are no extraordinary, unforeseeable circumstances and incidents of force majeure. In case the products are not immediately available but will be ordered from a supplier or expected, the COMPANY:

1) After ten (10) days from the acceptance of the order, it will inform the customer of the possible time of receipt or of the fact that the supplier has not yet delivered the items and the time of receipt cannot yet be determined

2) After twenty (20) days from the acceptance of the order, it will come back with a new, updated, similar message.

If twenty (20) days have passed since the acceptance of the order and the product, for reasons beyond the company's responsibility, has not been received by the supplier, the company will contact the customer by any convenient means (telephone, e-mail, etc.) informing him for the delay.
